With Aeldenwood poised on topping 100 copies by the end of the day, I have to say that the book has far surpassed my hopes for its first month available to the public. Knowing that even one hundred other people are reading about the adventures of characters I’ve created is simply…amazing.
I have to thank my readers for really getting the book out to as many people as possible, garnering the Drayenmark saga some new fans. This week the book also became available on Amazon.com (I’ll be working on uploading the cover and such) and Barnes and Noble.com. I also recently completed an interview for TV Cogeco, a station for Brockville, near Ottawa, and want to thank Doreen Barnes once again for the great questions and time. Plans are also in the works for a formal book signing at Leeds County Books in Brockville in May. I’ll be sure to post details as they are finalizied.
Feedback has been wonderful and well thought out and I appreciate the comments. Anyone who does feel willing to leave a review is welcome to use the lulu.com link and post a review there. Every little bit helps.
Work continues apace on the second installment, H’rothgarr, and with two of the three seasons completely written, I am focusing on a June 1st deadline before it goes to editing. So basically a November release is both planned and anticipated.
For any who are reading Aeldenwood, don’t be shy, I’d love to hear from you.
