Gorimm, Book IV of the Drayenmark Saga, is Released!

Although a delay on timing because of the Holiday season put a bit of a wrench into my plans, I can officially report that, as of this moment, the newest installment of the Drayenmark series is now available through lulu.com. Just search in the sci-fi fantasy section for Gorimm and it will be there.

I am extremely pleased with the finished product and hope you all enjoy the adventure as it begins to ready itself for the final chapter. I can also happily inform you all that the 5th book is already in development. With so much of the legwork already completed due to my work on Gorimm, this last part to the story will not be years in the making. Expect more updates on my progress as the year goes by.

Leeds County Books, for all of you in the Brockville and Ottawa area, will be carrying the book and I will update information on its availability in Ottawa. I will, of course, hope to do a signing at Leeds County Books.

For anyone who lives in Ottawa, I will be doing a fun little launch most likely later on this month and you can always pop by to pick up a signed copy. Details will follow shortly.

As promised, here is the incredible new cover art for, Gorimm: Book IV of the Drayenmark Saga. Michael Leadingham returns as my artist and as expected, his vision of my work is simply stunning.

 

The book is in its final stages, so stay tuned for final details concerning the launch. My hope is of course to have it up and ready within the next 2 weeks, just in time for Christmas.

New Release

Well, this post might have been far longer in coming than I had ever imagined but I am pleased to announce that the next installment of the Drayenmark Saga is ready to go!

Gorimm has been finished and edited and nearly ready to hit the shelves. I am currently looking at a mid December release date and will put up all the details as to where it might be bought as all those minor issues are ironed out. The final version of the new cover is expected any day now from Michael Leadingham, and I know you will all love his newest vision of the world of Caleria. As soon as the final print of the cover is in my hands I will post it up for all to enjoy.

This book will mark a return to Lulu.com for the series as I feel it is the easiest way by which all of my fans, worldwide, can access the novel. Through Lulu, I will also re-issue H'rothgarr and Aerinstone in the hopes of garnering new fans to the series. Aeldenwood is already available. Some of my local bookstores, of course, will also have the books on the shelves, namely Leeds county Books, a store that has been a wonderful support over the years.

As for the book itself, I am thrilled with the finished product! This novel certainly tested my limits in many ways but it has also allowed me to move immediately onto the completion of the series. My detailed work on Gorimm involved alot of the leg work and even some completed chapters for the 5th and final book and come January 1st, after a brief break from a fulltime writing schedule, I will dig in deep to write until I am done.

I hope that this message still finds many of you excited to pick up the stories of many of your favourite characters in the Drayenmark Saga. I hope you will all love this book as much as I do.

Winter is coming...

I know I have been horribly absent from updating my progress in the last while but life continues to remain quite a challenge, what with my twins rapidly approaching their second birthday. But fear not, progress continues, albeit slower than I might hope, on Gorimm and the subsequent final and 5th book of the series.

Approaching the process of getting Gorimm ready has been somewhat different than how I worked upon the first three novels of the series. For starters, I felt it was important that I really plotted out the final 2 books in tandem to ensure that I properly paced the final two books. Unlike the first three where I always felt there remained quite a bit of leeway for me to move some plot threads backwards and forwards, and even expand upon ones that seemed to grow even as I wrote them, Gorimm and the final chapter of the Drayenmark Saga demanded some closer attention to those small details I often took for granted.

As a result, as well as my much busier life at the moment, it is taking longer to get this book ready to go. But moving forward it definitely is. The bonus is that a lot of the legwork and even some chapters are being completed for the 5th book and therefore in the end the downtime between the last two books will hopefully be far more minimal if all goes according to plan.

I would like to thank all of my fans who have continued to write to me with letters of support and interest in the series, your kind words are always appreciated. As a side note, please do send me your favoutire scenes of the series so far as I am always looking at getting some of my own favourites turned one day into artwork.
